Cultural History In Focus | Collezione Brignoni at Museo delle Culture Lugano | “A Serendipitous Find” by Bernard Sellato
The city of Lugano, Switzerland is the beneficiary of the collections of the late avant-gardist, Serge Brignoni.
Brignoni began collecting the arts of non-western civilizations in 1926 and amassed a significant hoard of artifacts over the course of his life from Oceania, Indonesia, and Africa.
Select works from his bequest are prominently featured and displayed in Museo delle Culture.
